Hey, hey! Happy Tuesday!

I'm typing this from my (very) messy desk with (very) crampy fingers.

Why? I'm on deadline. 🫣

My deadlines usually look a little something like this: unwashed hair, stained shirt, at least 5 drinks on my desk (currently, it's 2 waters, a Coke Zero, a Coke with ice, and a grape Gatorade), and a stack of stuff that's awaiting my attention perched carefully on the corner but leaning slightly to the right.

This book that I'm writing though? Worth every darn minute of my time. 🤩 It's titled PLAY ME and has an enemies-to-lovers thing going on. She's sick of him from the first second they meet, and he's soooo not entertained by her antics.

The tension! The banter! The chemistry! (The spice!)

It's all there in spades. (Why do we say spades and not diamonds? Or hearts? Hmmm ...)

Anyway, PLAY ME comes out on August 15th and it's quite possibly your favorite read this summer.

As my assistant Jenn said: Who doesn't need a summer with thick rugby thighs and hot rugby guys? 🥵🤣

🏡 Locke Life, Lately

Aside from working on PLAY ME, I've been enjoying a lot of time outside. But, my gosh, has it been hot! Mr. Locke and I went to a Reds game recently, and I thought I was going to melt.

Also, peep little Addy swimming. Isn't it funny how you remember the weirdest things from the past? I remember that particular swimsuit. It wasn't even my favorite and I didn't wear it often, but I couldn't tell you another one that I owned. Ha!
